Geppetto
Pinocchio's father
Geppetto is the tritagonist of Disney's 1940 animated feature film Pinocchio. He is an old woodcarver living in a small workshop adorned with his creations, such as toys and articulated clockworks. Among the carvings was a wooden puppet made of pine, later named “Pinocchio”, who was magically granted life by the Blue Fairy to reward Geppetto’s kindness and generosity.
