Randall

Randall Boggs; purple monster who likes to disappear

Randall Boggs is one of the main antagonists of Disney•Pixar's 2001 animated film Monsters, Inc. Snide and vindictive, Randall is notoriously envious of James P. Sullivan, the most beloved scarer in Monstropolis. To make his mark on the world while simultaneously stealing Sullivan's spotlight, Randall plots to "revolutionize" the scaring industry using conspiratorial means that involves abducting human children.
