Ochtendblad voor Indonesië Daily newspaper for the Indo-Dutch population of Indonesia. Published from 1945-08-31 to 1957-11-30. Published as the Tanah Abang Bode or Bulletin from 1945-08-26 until 1945-09-10, after the Japanese internment camp where it was originally printed. Continued as the Indonesian-language paper Nusantara from 1957-12 to 1973-10. The issues on this page were published during the Indonesian National Revolution. Jakarta (Batavia), where this paper was published, continued to be administrated by the Dutch colonial forces until the transference of sovereignty on 27 December 1949. For this reason, the choice was made to place these issues in the Dutch index. -RCo
