Uncle Scrooge is the scientist Alfred Nobel who worked on nitroglycerine and invented dynamite. This scene depicts the destruction of his laboratory during an experiment in 3 September 1864. After his death, his fortune was used to fund the Nobel Prizes, including the Nobel Peace Prize.
