Donald and Huey, Dewey and Louie are canoeing when they come across a dam. They discover that fish can’t pass the dam to swim upstream in order to spawn. Meanwhile they meet Gyro Gearloose by coincidence. Together they try to find a solution for the obstacle on the fish route.
