Scrooge retells his account of his ancestor Sir Eider McDuck of Dismal Downs' life. During the 10th century in Scotland(the Kingdom of Alba at the time), King Malcolm suffered from multiple tries to overthrow him from his throne rule, but the actions of Sir Eider helped to fend off these attacks via the strategic smarts in business and sales Sir Eider employed. King Malcolm was very grateful to Sir Eider and was going to give him the role as King... but Sir Eider opted to be his treasurer instead.
